    Lot's of folks including myself have been whining for years about the lack of small displacement sport bikes available in the states. For years the Ninja 250 was the only option.

    The question is, now that it's here will anyone buy it?

    Chances are not. I'll bet it will MSRP at least $1K. over the ninja. Strike one. It's also a thumper instead of a twin or a four which is strike two. If a thumper why not a CRF based 450 motor? Strike three.

      I wonder what the service interval on that thumper will be. I think the complaint has been the lack of "cool" 250 sportbikes available elsewhere. This doesn't really fit into CBR250RR or ZXR250 territory. So in effect, we still don't have any cool 250's.
