  • Rounding out Phillips screws on your Jap bike?

    You probably think it's because they use soft, shitty, sub par steel but it's not. The truth is, you're using the wrong screwdriver!

    Japanese bikes don't use Phillips head screws they use something called a JIS screw or Japanese Industrial Standard. Use a Phillips S/D on one and you'll likely round it off because the profile is different including the degree of angle on the screw depth.

    Get a set of JIS screwdrivers from Amazon and stop fucking your shit up!

      Yep, I use the "crappy" OEM tool kit screwdrivers when I don't have anything better around. They work better than a decent phillips driver.

      Not as well as a better JIS driver of course.
