I agree with Alicia. The whole point of this forum is for us to communicate with each other freely and Jokes and bullshitting are communication. How else are we to get to know SLOspects if not through our own forum? The more chatter the better. If you got some serious topics to track then keep it in members only sections.

There are 14 separate forum sections and that's just what is available to the public. I see no reason not to use them as we see fit. If you don't want to read it that is your choice but the postings you are complaining about are in general sections. I have no interest in joining a chat room with only a few members actively viewing it. It's bad enough half the members don't even use our own forum.

It would be nice, seriously, if we could move the chat off the forum and onto IRC. After all, that is what IRC is for. And the important stuff on the forum is starting to get lost in the noise lately.

And conversations/decisions/jokes made in chat are pretty much kept between 2-3 people and/or lost forever in the scroll. Our mailing list used to be full of noise too, but at least on this forum I can page down over all the dumb shit and get to the meat & potatoes of the discussion.

As a longtime IRC user I think it is the worst communication method for this club as a whole.

SLO, does not seem to be a prob., I don't see this any different as it does keep this Club alive with chat and what not, I have stated that this web site is Dead in the past....why?, no one is on it. I don't have any answers as to why at this time, and the public is not here as well, how come?. I welcome Chat and what not here, be it cool or lame. When do you get the wrist pin taken out?

some time before new years when the doctor feels its ready.... (jerk) ....I actually have 3 pins in my bone 2 are cut off just bellow the skin so those will be easy to get to but because the 3rd is deeper in he wasn't to schedule an OR for it.... fucking BS.
