  • SFVMC Beware the Tards of March! ~ Sun 3/25

Caesar failed to pay heed to the warnings, and fell in an orgy of blades and violence.

San Francisco has also failed to pay heed, and will now fall in an orgy of knobbies, street tires, blatting exhausts, gravel, mud, dirt, and asphalt.

The Ides of March ended the reign of Caesar, the Tards of March will begin the reign of the holy trinity: The motard, the dual sport, the dirtbike.

Join the Vampires Motorcycle Club, as they take you on a hooligan run through the streets, parks, mud fields, and dirt mountains of San Francisco.

All bikes are welcome, but it is recommended that a bike be comfortable off-road to be fielded for the day of battle. The faint of heart, new riders, and mopeds are strongly discouraged.

The Tards of March are here....

I hope you are/have printed up fliers and distributed them at an SFMC meeting. I told Jason Beren (inactive SCVMC and current SFMC member) about the ride and he hadn't heard of it.

We just announced the ride two days ago. I am planning to attend the next SFMC meeting to pass out flyers.

Thanks for taking care of that Ziad. I'm not able to make it up to SFMC tonight and I know there's more than a few members that will flip for this ride!

Slight change in plans--I am going down to the Santa Cruz Vamps meeting tonight instead, but I'll hit up SFMC next week (3/8) for sure.

That'll still be 2+ weeks notice before the ride, and we'd definitely like anyone and everyone from SFMC that's interested to join us.

Be sure to warn them that it will be a C- paced ride since I am leading.

I'm heading up for quick visit with James on the 8th and will be at the clubhouse afterwards. See you there.

I can now attest that 95% of this ride can be accomplished on a literbike with street tires, so long as the pilot has brass balls.

Come one, come all, bring bail money and your tire plug kits to San Francisco this Sunday!
