Rally Camping Roll Call 6/22-6/23

Ok we got ourselves some sweet motorcycle friendly campsites for our 13th annual rally weekend: The night of Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd.

I'm not sure if the exact location can be made public yet, but it's not too far away.

For those interested in camping out with us there is space available both nights.

This is good to know. Adrian and Bill will be picking up the sites, so you may want to coordinate with them. I've heard a rumor that Mt. Madonna has showers, possibly for a fee, so you may want to look in to that if you plan on staying up there both nights. Don't want you stinkin' up our rally!

I'm not saying the club will not pay for showers, just that the showers at the campground are pay showers. I think the parking/junk jar could come up with shower funds.

I will be camping Saturday night. Will be set up friday night, but may opt to sleep at home. I also have space available if needed.

I'm in for Saturday, and most likely Friday as well. I have to do setup and cleanup, so it makes sense for me to camp both nights.

oh I'm not expecting the club to pay for my hot water, just mocking the idea of showers while camping...

for those of us who aren't familiar with the campsite already, should I assume that it is up in the hills and will be getting down near "freezing my balls off" at night?

It'll be warmer than that. balls will stay on brass monkeys. I expect low temp around 50 or so.

i spoke with a gilroy moto local familiar with mt. madonna, he said that it gets foggy and cold in the campground and prepare accordingly
