  • James Cornell Benefit hosted by SRA...

The Sidecar Racers Association-West will be racing with AFM at Buttonwillow on October 20th. It has been brought to my attention that a small fundraising event will be happening that Saturday.

Drivers will be taking folks for taxi rides during lunch time for a $20.00 minimum donation, which of course will go the the James Cornell Fund.

Please feel free to come down to B-Willow and watch the races on Saturday and AFM on Sunday. Motels are cheap and the drive is relatively short compared to other tracks if you choose not to stay over. Buttonwillow is south on I-5 just adjacent to the Bakersfield/Hwy58 cutoff. Driving time is about 3 hours or less (depending on how fast you drive! ).

Sidecars will do taxi rides around noon and race around 4pm on Saturday. Hope to see you there!

      *bump*

I've gotten confirmation that there will be 11 rigs on the grid this weekend! Plenty of opportunity for those that want to take a spin around the track. Come find out what made James love sidecar passengering! (Or, what made him crazy )

Hope to see some of you there!

As cool as this would have been to attend, Melissa's 35th birthday is Friday night and I'll be in NO way fit for travel Saturday morning.

          Keep three on the ground!!!
