Maybe Melissa will loan me one her Catholic school girl skirts.
Then again, perhaps not..."Through the course of my life, I've spent most of my money on motorcycles, drinking, drugs and chasing wild women. The rest of the money I just wasted."

The Angry Scotsmen have been anxiously waiting for this event. You can count us in.
By the way, since a couple of us are Highland athletes we'll be happy to bring a real caber and some of the heavy weights we compete with so you guys can throw them around and possibly maim somebody. You interested?

Hmm, that would break with the traditional "cardboard and garbage" motif that the VMCSF have been doing...but, maiming bystanders+destroying the De Young is a hard thing to pass up."We want to be free. We want to be free to do what we want to do. We want to be free to ride. And we want to be free to ride our machines without getting hassled by The Man. And we want to get loaded."

You guys were cool in coming out and supporting the grand opening of our boy's shop and we just wanted to try to return the favor. If you'd like us to bring our crap then we'll gladly do that but we don't want to impose either. Is there someone I should talk to to see if this is something you're interested in?

For the record, I think that a real caber and associated deadly accoutrements would be tits, the only hangup would be finding a place to toss them around. We normally do our fake caber toss out on the lawn in front of the de Young (and in front of tons of baffled tourists), but I don't think they would appreciate more authentic projectiles digging into their grass and their customers' skulls.
I know Dave wants to mix up the ride/route a bit this year, so maybe we can find an alternate spot to maim innocent bystanders. It's entirely his call, though.

I saw no email!
But yeah, I was thinking about doing the athletics somewhere other than the de young grounds this year. Need to find a good field that still has people nearby.
Are there any restrictions on the fields in GG park that people use for football, etc?Can you fly, bobby?

The soccer fields between the Great Highway and JFK Drive are going to be full of soccer players on a Saturday.
Might want to consider taking it to the beach or to a smaller park. Duboce or Dolores would both be hilarious. Even Washington square in North Beach has plenty of grass and fewer dog poops than Huntington park on Nob Hill.
