  • Female Vampires?

I live down in Salinas & finally bought my bike after wanting one for a REALLY long time. Its a 1998 Kawasaki VN750. Itll do (for now anyway.)
Do Y'all allow those of us that carry our balls inna bra to ride/join?

My Name is Tori, sometimes called MizTori & occasionally called MizDemeanor, usually get pointed at and called "THAT Girl" while being accused of something.
With my winning personality & my ability to scare the crap out of most people by looking at them, I am lots of fun at parties.
Being quite spiritual I enjoy starting off my sunday mornings with The Reverend Horton Heat & The Reverend Billy C Wirtz.
Yup, I'm more fun then a bag of poodles & a chainsaw

Let me know & I will ride over for a meeting.

    Miz

    Re: Female Vampires?

The Santa Cruz chapter has one current female member (who is one of the founding members), and the San Francisco chapter is approximately half women. SF is still a small, fairly new chapter. One of the things I love about the Vampires is that we are one of the few clubs in which men and women participate on an equal basis. So please do come and check out the meetings and events!

        (couldn't resist - fair warning)

I had heard rumor at some point that you had to hump a Vampire to be in the club, or had humped a former Furie. If that be the case - *some* of should at least be honorary members!!!! *cough-cough*

I had heard that one of the prospect tasks to become a Fury was to "nail a vampire".

As for humping a vampire to be in the club... I think you're thinking of the "Manpires" - I think they are from San Bruno.

(Ok, so I did it more then once.....)

            Does that count for anything?

That's right... that's what it was.... To become a Furie - you had to nail a vampire... through the heart. ;-) I filled my quota hahahaha... Sorry - sometimes it's way funnier in my head.

Necessity is the mother of invention? Sounds a lot less expensive than a Symbian. Not sure on maintenance costs though... it isn't good for a washing machine to spin unballance, bearings may need more frequent replacement.

Either one is lower maintenance than having a human involved :
Of course neither one can talk with you. This could be a plus or a minus depending.

When are you going to show up at an event? You've been showing up on the forum occasionally for over a year, and we have yet to meet you. Quit posting and start riding with us.

You've got a really bad memory.

You also aren't really capable of even rudimentary research.

As has been pointed out to you multiple times in the past, we meet up at Cafe Pergolesi, on Cedar Street in downtown Santa Cruz. First Thursday of every month, show up by 7:30, ride to meeting which begins at 8:00 PM.

                        Put it on your calendar.

Third Sunday of every month we have a group ride, leaves Pergolesi at noon. Put that on your calendar too.

If you aren't present this August for at least one of these you will have proven yourself once and for all to be a troll. Quit fscking around and ride. Or go away. Really - over a year of you proclaiming you want to hang out and ride with us, being given when/where patiently each time, and you still haven't made it to one freaking event ... you're either a troll, a child, a lamer or a loser. If not then prove it by showing up to ride.

Wow, Lugnut's not one to usually one to get impatient. I guess I should look in this section once in awhile.

Usually not... and I wouldn't say I'm impatient in this case ... I gave ity 15 months before I started wondering about what she was up to.

Timing of her first visit was May 2005. She's from Watsonville. Other possibilities do suggest themselves besides troll, sock puppet comes to mind.

Note, this is RZ350Racer I'm talking about, MizTori has only been around amonth or so, and I think it is likely she'll makes it to a ride. Now if we can figure out how to put two wheels on a washing machine

                              Welcome. Saw your other posts...

Harleys are well marketed machines, and even better marketed T-shirts. Mechanically and performance wise they are about average for the class of bike - cruisers. Primarily you are buying into a well marketed mystique of the american biker/rebel/outlaw when you buy a harley. Another thing that appeals is the sound.

Cruisers as a general class of motorcycle are best suited for moderate paced riding on mildly curving roads. Highway 9 for example is challenging to ride at a fast pace on a cruiser. Not that one should ride all that fast on a highway anyway - there are cagers out there with cell phones and other dangers that make it problematic to ride as fast as one could safely ride a sport bike if the road's contours were the only variable. Knowing the performance envelope of a bike is probably best accomplished on a track while wearing full on leathers.

Our club is fairly heavily geared towards sport bikes (and scooters!). No particular make or model stands out as being dominant as people buy new/sell old bikes. One of our club's mottos is "two wheels and a motor - sounds good to me". (We may want to qualify that by saying IC motor, as I'm not sure a segway could keep up on a ride).

Riding a motorcycle is a lifestyle choice. Once you start it seems like you can never quit being a biker, regardless of what size/brand/style of motorcycle you ride. being as our club all loves to ride, we like it when we hear from new people with whom we can share that love.

So show up and share the love
