Well I start vacation this week (for about a week), figure I should get my lazy ass down and check out The Box for once...

I was going to go and do some 1000+ mile ride, but with my bent rim, and the need to do some wrenching on the car, I figure I will just dick around and get greasy until I fly to Chicago on thursday.

So, I assume I'll run into some folks on monday?

The Blue Lagoon (Where the Box is held), FYI, is owned and operated by Gay Men. Though... The Box is not "sexually oriented" but to the general freaks. I've been attending for the past 6-7 years, so I think I can speak on this subject. It was known as a gay bar... but, it has never been offensive to either sexes since I've been attending.

Does that clear things up a bit?

All I remember is when it was a "gay bar, all the hot chics would go there and ofcourse that brought all the straight guys in who eventually took over, so basically ended up a bunch of guys again, ironic, huh?

purse for the night and come down to the gay bar to hang
out with the goth/rivet biker trash.
