    JAMES CORNELL

    Hi

    I am a reporter for Isle of Man Newspapers in the British Isles.

    Your member James Cornell is in hospital over here after crashing in a practice session of the Isle of Man TT Races.

    We heard more than 100 members gathered to root his speedy recovery.

    Do you have a picture of this that you could email me so we can include it in a story we are writing about the accidents that have happened so far in the TT.

    I would need the picture no later than 10am (UK time) on Sunday, June 4

    Char's camera was used to take the photo at the SFMC clubhouse. Contact Char at exneighbor@yahoo.com. Photo should be showing up on a website soon too, likely at dawgpoundracing.com among other places.

    The outpouring of support was inspiring - motorcycle clubs, scooter clubs from all around the bay area - off the top of my head - San Francisco Motorcycle Club, San Francisco Vampires MC, Sport Bike Freaks MC (707 area), Oakland MC, Secret Society Scooter Club, Los Gatos Vespa Club, Santa Cruz Vampires MC.... that's 7 clubs and I'm certain I've missed some.

    I hope you're able to report James is conscious and responding well to treatment in your article. We all want him to recover soon.

        Sent picture, on time. It's all good. I sent the whole set of pics to one of the Vamps and SFMC crew this morning. So, you should be seeing them shortly.

          FYI - I emailed Lucy back asking for the story. But apparently they didn't have enough room for the pic in the article. I also asked for the article, but no such luck. :-/
