  • New Peninsula Rider

Hi there. I bought a scooter last year (Piaggio BV500) and I've been doing some recreational riding. I'd really love to hook up with some other people and find some riding buddies . I'm interested in joining the Vampires but honestly, I'm a little nervous about making the trip over 17 to get to SC by myself.

I live in Sunnyvale and although I have my M1, I still have less than 1K miles on the scoot.

Is there anyone else in this area that wouldn't mind chaperoning me over the hill?

    TIA

    Michelle

you know there is a scooter club on your side of the hill? Not that we don't want you hanging out with us and possibly joining... "two wheels and a motor - sounds good to me" is a Vampirism.

Vespa Club of Los Gatos http://www.vespaclublosgatos.com/ - gives you someone to hang and ride with, although you have to own a Vespa according to the FAQ.

I live in San Jose and can run escort, although I'll be in Vegas with the girlfriend next thursday, so it would not be until next month. Over the next month however we most likely have other events which you can attend to get to know the club. Stay in touch on the forum and things will be announced as they're organised.

            Hello Everyone!

Thanks for letting me coming to the meeting last night... next time I'll actually make it on time!

I enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to getting to know folks the next time something comes up.

If there is anything I can do to help out with the upcoming rally, please just let me know. I'm loking forward to at the very least being able to come on the led ride. and possibly the hooligan ride. Between now and then, if anything comes up, drop me a message

You can help with publicity - put up event flyers, etc. Also word of mouth with any other riders you know.

The game should be fun, might want to do the Saturday game too.
