Hello Vampires! A couple of the riders from the SBR forums suggested I check in here to invite you all to attend a ride on Sunday, September 18 with rider and sponsor charitable donations going to the AmeriCares Hurrican Relief fund. Lots of info below in the planned ride, from Alice's down to Morro Bay. Naturally, we'll be stopping in Santa Cruz as one of the planned stops along the way.

Pashnit Hurricane Relief Rally – Proceeds to AmeriCares

A Joint Charitable Event of Pashnit Motorcycle Forum,

Bay Area Riders Forums, South Bay Riders Forums and Sport-Touring.net.

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Rider/Forum Members of Pashnit, BARF, SBR & STN are joining together to raise funds for the massive relief effort needed to help those who have lost so much in New Orleans and the Gulf states.

The Pashnit Rally: FOUR paths will head to the California coast and join at Morro Bay Sunday evening

Ride 1: South Bay to Morro Bay with meet points along the coast
Ride 2: Sacramento to Morro Bay with meet points in the central valley
Ride 3: San Diego to Los Angeles to Morro Bay
Ride 4: Phoenix to Morro Bay with meet points south and east of L.A.

Riders can ride one segment of the planned Rides or the whole day. (See breakdown of meet points below.)

Rider Donation: $25 entry fee requested for riders – Payment may be made online, via check or cash during the ride.

Ride Sponsors: All riders are encouraged to sign up sponsors. Sponsors may donate online, via check or cash.

Ride Captains will collect check and cash donations at meet points.

Note: AmeriCares cannot issue tax receipts for cash donations. All cash donations will be aggregated and sent to AmeriCares as a check.

- Santa Cruz to Carmel (10:00 - 11:00)
- Carmel to Nacimiento/Ferguson Rd. (11:30 - 1:30)
- Nacimiento/Ferguson Rd. to Morro Bay (2:30 – 5:00)

Sacramento - Ride 2 Ride Captain: Gary
- Placerville to Mariposa (7:30 – 10:30)
- Mariposa to Coalinga (11:00 – 2:00)
- Coalinga to Morro Bay (2:30 – 5:00)

San Diego - Ride 3
- San Diego to Ventura
- Ventura to Morro Bay
