Get ready for the 27th, Annual SLO County Toy Run Dec 2nd.
Ride leaves downtown Avila Beach at 10:30am for a scenic ride to the Loading Chute in Creston
(Hwy 41 to 229 Creston, CA)

Admission: $5 Per Person & an Unwrapped Toy for Kids ages 1 to 16 or $15 without a toy. 1st 1000 Toy Donations get a 27th, Annual Commemorative Toy Run Pin.

OK SLO riders... Who's comming with me?

I have a small group of riders that are going together, a few of us are actually dressing in Christmas Attire... Mrs. Clause, an Elf... Anyone else want to join us? I think we should meet up at It's a Grind before we go to start, in Avila Beach.

So Who's with me? And more importantly, who's dressing up?!?

Alright, with the exception of Beau, Justin and I, all the other SLO guys were probably still recovering from the Party in Santa Cruz.

Meanwhile...

We had 8 bikes (and picked up 2 more along the way) that met up with us at It's a Grind and rode out to Avila Beach for the big Toy Run. There were 1,000 plus bikes there. It was a ton of fun! Our group took the not so mediocre ride out to Creston. We took the scenic route, the 58 to the 229. Once we go there, we had a lot of fun. There were sssooo many prizes for the raffle ticket. So many in fact it took them about an hour and a half to read out all the winning tickets. And the 50/50 prize was just short of $1,000. At the end there were also prizes for the best decorated bike, which I thought the prize went to the wrong one. You can only see half of (the bike I thought should win) in the photo. This sled was pulled behind a decorated bike and the whole sled would light up, even the presents! They also gave away prizes for best costumes. Apparently my Mrs. Clause outfit and Amanda’s Elf outfit were not revealing enough to win the prize.

You know, there really wasn't any recoverying for me. I had three beers and a shot of rum and nothing else after 10pm.
