  • Introducing myself...

Our new friend Beau told my husband and I about this site and the Vampires. I was thrilled to find another awesome forum!

I ride a silver FZ6. My husband is RallyRodent, big guy on the blue FZ1. We were going for the whole his and hers thing. But I'm ready for an upgrade! I'm thinking about a GXR 750. But in a few weeks I’ll be going to FemMoto in Las Vegas. Then have a much better idea of what I want next.

My husband and I live on the beautiful Central Coast! We absolutely love it here. Motorcycle riding weather is about 50 weeks out of the year! Hehehe!
If you have never visited San Luis Obispo County, you’re missing out. There is an abundance of amazing roads for every riding style.

I am 24 and have been riding for six years. I started small, Honda Rebel 250, then Kawasaki Cafe Racer 400 (My Favorite!), Yamaha Seca 650, now I have the FZ6. And our newest additions to the family are our 1975 CB 750 and our 1974 Sidecar! I’m really excited to get those put together and out of the road.

Some of my hobbies: I love being involved in the Motorcycle Community! Just about anything I can get my hands on. I like doing day rides… ride out for a few hours, find lunch and head home again.
I also am involved with Monte Carlo Style Road Rallys. They are a ton of fun! The group we belong to is Into the Night (ITN). It is not a race, but it is a competition.

Occupation: I am a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Premier Real Estate in San Luis Obispo. I have been in Real Estate for four years now. I love it, it is definitely a job that I enjoy going to do every day.
I recently was hired on at CycleGear, which I am totally stoked about. Even though the likes of me having anything left of a paycheck after I take advantage of my employee discount are slim. I am just looking at it as another great connection to the motorcycle world.

I hope to meet you all out on the road!

    Ride safe,

It would be great to see you both at the Day of the Dead ride. It would also be great if beau got off his sorry ass and arranged a weekend for us or some of us to get to together in SLO for us to meet you on your turf and to share your fine back country roads with us.

      Wouldn't it cuzzin Beau...

It looks like the Day of the Dead ride was changed to Nov. 4th.... We are going to try to make it up for that!

AFAIK it was always scheduled for the 4th.

Unless there's a major conflict, Day of the Dead is generally the first Sunday after Halloween.

Likewise if you wish to show up on Saturday and get acquainted with the crew before hand in a social setting, my B-day bonfire party is held in the Santa Cruz mountains on the Sat. night before but only five minutes from town if you care to get a hotel or whatnot. Otherwise We can host you but conditions are rustic at best.

Ever see that fucked up cabin in those Evil Dead movies starring Bruce Cambell? That's where I live.

I think if they show up, we'll have 4 FZs, far outnumbering any other bike. And everyone thought I was crazy when I bought one...

Now there are four of you who are crazy but hey, look who's talking. I'm not the stablest guy in the world you know even though I seem so suave in person.

I have personal reasons for not liking the FZ1 although that is no personal reflection upon the fine folks that own them. Haven't tried the lil cousin yet.

                  hey there

hey guys.... thought i would get on here and post a hello. i see everyone is getting acquainted with my wife. we are glad to get to know some more like minded riders, at least beau tells us we would fit in here.

goose, when is your birthday? mine is the 4th, but we are partying on the 2nd so we can ride that weekend. my wife asked me if she could throw me a "themed" party. i said she could if everyone dressed like mechanics wearing grubby jeans, overalls, or coveralls. should be interesting. maybe will will make it to yours. we'll see how things work out.

hope to meet you guys soon.

My B-Day is also the 4th. but the party is always held the first saturday of the month. My wife is trying to change that this year by either having me not have it all, have it on Friday so fewer people can make it or having it somewhere else than our house this year.
So far I have successfully resisted by avoiding the topic.

As far as your theme idea I wouldn't even have to change after work because I dress in grubby mechanics clothes all day while I get paid to be a grubby mechanic.

I generally dislike theme parties as a general rule but there will be a theme this year. The theme is under no circumstances is any one to INJURE, HIT, CUT, SCRAPE, BURN, ELECTROCUTE, MUTILATE, CRIPPLE, DAMAGE or CONFUSE the host (me) in ANY way.

Last year I ended up on the operating table with my ankle broken in three places.
