Roadwork on 17

Caltrans tore up a good sized section of 17 South last night, between crescent dr. and granite creek.

If you're not paying attention you'll be surprised by the 2" drop onto the base layer of the road as you enter a turn. Lots of gravel.

the ripped up section of 17 has been repaved. Pretty quick work.

9 is covered in cops, squids, and tourists this time of year, especially on a friday. I think Seric has an alternate route in mind.
