Re-Cycle is hosting it's first workshop on Sunday April 15th at noon. This workshop will be on suspension, and will be given by Phil Douglas and Rich Dandolo.
Phil's presentation will focus on the basic theories of suspension and how they relate to the street performance and handling of your motorcycle. Many riders suffer unnecessarily because their motorcycles are not optimized for their riding style or weight. Phil can set sag, damping adjustment and balance the suspension front and rear for correct frequency. Even on the relatively unadjustable BMW suspension he can make a big difference in handling.
Rich is the owner of Santa Cruz Suspension which specializes in Motocross, Off-road, SuperMoto and Hi performance Minibikes.
The presentation will be across the street from my garage at the Louden Nelson center, so I recommend coming early and getting some tacos and drinks from the taqueria.
Parking will be available at the Re-Cycle garage at 413 Laurel St. This is a free event but donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of the classroom.
