Anyone up for helping build one of these? I already have the frame, wheels, propane tank, just need the chamber and tubing. http://www.aardvark.co.nz/pjet/lhkart.shtml

Re: I want one
I don't know where we could run it. Pulsejet motors are loud.
And when I say loud, I mean... a jackhammer, a 747 motor,
and a tornado, all running at the same time... are nothing
compared to the noise a pulsejet motor makes.
Other than that, yeah... I can weld, chris can get the
pipe.

Re: I want one
Survival Research Labs have been fiddling around with this stuff for years. Usually ends up with police, firetrucks, ground forces, etc. showing up! 8)
Images and video footage can be found all over their website:

Re: I want one
It uses $10 worth of propane per 4 minutes of ride time. Hmmmmm...
I don't think we can afford it.
It would be alot cheaper and funner to buy a big bottle of nitrous from a slippery dentist and every one in the club could get high for four minutes instead.

Re: I want one
The cart frame is the version built from Home Depot plans, so is a bit heavy. I think we should go all out and try for the Heli version, using the currently materials where possible. Two Stroke sent a cool link with a pic. http://www.rqriley.com/glu-heli.htm
...marked the realization of Mr. Gluhareff's lifelong dream to design what he called a "flying motorcycle."
That dude was rad.
