        Re: Battery choice

Anything better than a "battery-plus" leaker; dry cell or other brand that won't leak acid when the bike is in a parked position,I just don't know what my options are aside from taking the battery out send it back to the man who said "they all are sealed and wont leak". $2000.00+ to replace damaged parts,I am open to options, thanks.

I like to use "Yuasa" batteries. They are good for exactly 1 year before they die and stop charging and you can get them at any Kragen for around 20$ a battery.

Aren't lead acid batterries equiped with a vent and a diversion tube to keep the acid from going bad places?

              Re: Battery choice

One would think so Bill, not this one. Batteries plus stated that this is a sealed battery and no puke tube is needed.I'm going to take the bike to the store and show them the damage their sealed battery has done.
