Mille 04 Factory

I got to ride a brand new Mille 04 Factory! SF to South San Jose with some detours in Sunnyvale.

1) Bike looks awesome
2) Exhaust system sounds really nice
3) Very grippy clutch and gear change in the city, very smooth on the highway
4) Idle mode automatically keeps engine at 2000 rpm until warm enough, no need to use a choke.
5) bike is officially 1 or 2 " lower than the 03 but they mounted a huge rear tire which makes it exactly as high.

How would you know its fast? Did someone tell you? HAAAAA

Actually because it was new, they told me to keep it below 7000rpm for a while... but this thing goes 100mph at 7000rpm!!! hahahaha... Had  a fun time smoking other bikes on the highway... haa now I have to deliver it to its real owner.. lucky guy!

Should get them soon. The owner of that bike dropped it yesterday (Second day after buying it) and broke the brake lever..  : sigh...

Ummm... I think it's pretty fugly myself. The older model has much cleaner lines to it. The new model seem to be going for that Starship Enterprise look with the wide flat tank and tailsections and the Kawasaki imitation molded in rear sig's. are downright heinous.

Some motorcycle test riders have indeed complained that the tank was too wide. I did not notice much while riding it. I think the biggest difference is in the front, the large bulby old style vs. the sharp new cut shape. I did not like the electronic dash, it took me a while to realize the reserve light was on. Bike was close to empty when I stopped.
