Just like car makers,intro a model in"88", and DMV see's "89". When a maker intros a mod., it is not the same as a production line mod. the next year. I found a bit about this when I met a INS. man. if You need more info I'll ring him with questions.

still looking for parts. cant find shit for my bike. the plastics are no good. un fixable. im thinking of getting a nose fairing, and making it a naked bike. anybody got a link for that? goose?

The cheapest and easiest way to go is race plastics. Here are a few I use on my race bikes. Yeah right, but seriously try a few to check out whats available.

Go to any search engine like yahoo, type in motorcycle body work or plastics, the a comma and then list your bike. Use the force, when that dont work, use Yahoo search
