Helmet Cleaning..?

I had to permanently attach the pads inside my helmet long time ago, now it looks like it could use some cleaning. How do I do? Can I soak the helmet in soap and water? How does one clean his helmet?

What pads are you talking about, cheek pads, forehead padding and what helmet? Most of the higher end models from Shoei and Arai have removeable pads that are held in place with plastic pop-snaps.

The cheek pads were always folding the wrong way so I glued them (permanently) a while ago. I wonder if I can wash the entire helmet at once.. ARAI Quantum/f

Dry clean,Car wash,Dish washer. Un glue and hand wash hot soapy water.
