Today (Friday 2/25) I have to give the Cliffs my credit card so I need to know who's coming.

Because Friday night is considered a weekend in the hotel business the Cliffs is charging me $104.00 + tax per room, so it will be about $230 for both rooms; this is still a killer deal as these rooms are regularly $289.00 each per night.

I got us 2 rooms with 2 Queen beds per room.

I mentioned this to a couple people already, but I figured I'd bring it up. Since the ride is going so close to LA, I wanted to stop by the Body Worlds 2 exhibit on Sunday or Monday. I don't know if anyone else caught the first edition, but it was really really really cool.

We need to plan a route around Friday traffic, assuming we're leaving early evening. I have to be in San Diego Friday morning for biz reasons, so I'm considering riding down on Thursday and meet you guys at the hotel rather than catching a plane.

Looks like rain.

Here's the deal with the hotel: I have to cancel our reservation by Tuesday or I'm out $230.00 so one of two things needs to happen:

1. By Monday I get $30 form each person going and we comit to going or loosing our dough... or

2. Tuesday morning comes and the weather-guessers are still calling for rain and I cancel the reservation.

I'm scheduled to be in LA that Saturday or earlier, so I'm heading toward southern CA Friday no matter what.

The weather report for the launch area shows 60% chance of rain on Saturday. How accurate are week-in-advance weather forcasts?

I just checked the site, Saturday's launch has been cancelled, and the Thursday launch is now on Friday.  If there's any cancellation fee I'll take care of it.

Bummer. I still have plans to go to LA to visit the BodyWorlds exhibit on Monday (cause I'm on Spring Break) but I might head down 1 or 101 early Saturday morning instead of Friday.
