Drove an hour away from Sao Paulo. Huge (I mean HUGE) buckets of water falling from the sky and still many 150cc fighting the elements on highways! These guys are brave! Rio and some sun in few days!

Brazil in the sun..

Just came back from Rio! If u ever go there, do NOT ride. Drivers are insane (Like 130kmh : downtown, or passing on the emergency lane). Pedestrians cross highways like a regular road, you can see a guy pushing his bike accross the highway with trucks all around !!!
Other than that Rio is so awesome! Copacabana beach, Ipanema Beach, sunny and 75 degrees Fahr. at 8am! (it is spring there)
From sun burn to rain... shhhh... 17 must be hell these days! Ride safe!
PS Did not get to visit the Grand Prix tracks.. but visited Maracana (Soccer/ football stadium) which is almost like a religious site for any Brazilian or Frenchman!
PPS My trainees had never heard of Aprilia. Most common there are Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, SUzuki and I saw one Laverda that looked just like a Ducati.
