Although in defense os Goose, lets not forget that while 3 of us went down at the SFMC Mods vs. Rockers rally - he stayed shiney side up! He is doing much better these days!

So how far do people want to go?
I think I found some cool spots on the Sacramento River, or the Stanislaus River. There are some cool lakes and resevoirs out by Manteca. I also found a few sites around Big Sur and Arroyo Seco river that have group sites.
Some of the ones that looked best to me were New Melones Resevoir and Knights Frerry on the Stanislaus River, Sourgrass Campround on North Fork Stanislaus River (They have natural rock slides, Don Pedro Resevoir (hidden coves around the lake - good for skinny dipping!) and Brannan Island State Recreation Area on the Sacramento River. Lake Tahoe would be AMAZING too!
I'm sure there is good riding around all these places, but I didn't look up the roads around them yet.
What do you all think? Kell, I can get you phone numbers to most of these if you want.

Katie, thanks for the info! That rox. I'm "helping" plan. (cause I stick my nose in every where it doesn't belong, you know! LOL!) We decided for sure on the last weekend in July being the date.

Will have to check out your info. The only reason we haven't totally decided on a spot, is because when I called to check out a site, the reservationist stated every thing from here to Humbolt County is booked the entire summer. Sooo.. means we have to find secret secluded m/c camping spot! Which, may turn out better any how.

I will bow out of this one cause I can't make that weekend. But please let me know the cool spots and I will plan a fun filled weekend for August 27-29. Anyone interested in that weekend let me know! ;D

Double poop is right! But I believe we have decided on a location. The Russian River. Ms. Melissa is going to call today in regards to reservations. Anyone interested, please let us know ASAP so we can figure out how many people to expect.
