BMWNA has announced there
will be a 2005 BMW
calendar......

Yes, there will be a slick full color BMWNA
motorcycle Calendar for year 2005.

1. It will appear in August, 2005.
2. It will cost $987.50+tax.
3. June, December and February will not have
correct dates. At first, BMWNA will claim that owners
don't know how to use a calendar; later, they
will quietly add the dates back after a
two-month turnaround. They will not tell
anyone which calendars have this problem, but
riders will let each other know via the internet and e-mail.
4. It will not be compatible with any other
calendar in your house. It certainly won't synch with
your Palm, Blackberry, or computer.
5. A less expensive Japanese version of the BMW
motorcycle calendar will be printed on
45 year old paper, with genuine certified
Spandau coffee stains on the back.
6. The little hole at the top of the BMWNA
calendar won't fit any nail or thumbtack in your
toolbox. BMW authorized dealers will sell a
special calendar thumbtack for $127.50+tax.
7. The use of any other thumbtack or nail will
void your BMWNA calendar warranty.
8. The calendar pictures will be really, really boring.
9. BMWNA will goof and only print 54 of these
calendars. BMWNA customer service will not
give anyone a straight answer on how to find them.
