Has anybody done a 81 run before? Is it low key like the Ghost Mountain Riders run, and all bikes are welcome?

Steve and I are having trouble getting people to join us on the SLO trip, so we might postpone the trip so others, like Anthony, can do the trip. This is our alternate plan right now.

If I don't hear from anyone, Steve and I are planning on meeting at 8:30 at the perg, to leave at 9am.

Yep, I'll be there by 9 to load up on caffeine, then we'll leave at 9:30. I believe we will be eating breakfast at the diner
Please be gassed up and ready to go. Its almost an hour trip, I don't want to be late because you needed gas and snacks at Chevron - although I reserve the right to stop to empty my bladder of caffeine

Seric, Jon, and Ted, thanks for letting us go on the 81 poker run with you. I had a blast, even though it was a short run.

Recap of the fun. Steve, Justin and myself left the Perg at 9:30 and met Seric and Jon at the Black Bear cafe (good food, slow service). After breakfast we went to Whiskey Creek Saloon in Hollister for the first stop. Where got there at in time to watch the pack ride off for the next stop. Here we waited for Ted, who apparently was coming from Finland.

After Ted showed up, we gassed up and went to Daisy's Saloon in San Jaun

The next stop was the American Legion Post in Prune Tucky, and then Moss landing Inn

Then on to the final stop at Mikes Bar in Castroville.

I thought the Moss Landing Inn was the most interesting stop. On Mondays the have free pool and pole dancing (hmmmm..)

At times we where traveling at a high rate of speed, and Justin and I had a hard time keeping track of the Jon's and Steve's tail lights

I had my camera mounted to my new RCU shelf and took some very shaky video and LSD pics. I'll try and post more later.
