Those scooters? They look like this:

Europeans are backwards as all hell, because you sure don't look that cool riding a bubble with pie tin sized wheels and a seatbelt. I'm sure BMW is making a mint off of them. Real popular in the UK.

yeah, that's the scooter I was talking about. I don't think cool factors into it, it is small economical transport (ez to park, ez to pay for fuel) that makes them sell.

      basically 2 wheeled citycars.

Went on a ride with one of the guys last night, the one with the Aprillia, man, that dude can ride! I was uber-rusty though, blowing my lines, real jerky in my lean and throttle control- I have not ridden anything but two up it seems all summer!

Going on a big ride on monday I think, all the "interested persons" should be there, plus another ride next wednesday evening, weather permitting.

I am thinking our Eklutna run is very similar to your "ride to the wall"- brand new two lane pavement, very beautiful tarmac, awesome condition for alaska, little to no traffic last night, awesome corners and twisties for "workin' on the skillz" LOL

Just me and one other yesterday, carviin' it up- very nice ride. Helmet coated with mosquito carcasses though!

well I guess.. The agenda behind the seatbelt prolly entails that
when they tested them with dummys.. when u lo/highside..

U prolly get grinded by that roll cage LOL ..

I woudlnt ride that thing unless I chopped it with a saw zall

Being afraid that id be turned into cheeseburger

What the F they tryn to do.. Keep the wheelie scooter hooligans at bay by not giving them a propper 12 bar to stand on?

I defintiely will try to get a shot of the scooter with seatbelt. Saw in Berlin and Amsterdam, will be in Amsterdam again and be on lookout.
              Saw it again in Amsterdam.

I've attached another pic, plus some detail of the seatbelt and seat. Seatbelts cross riders chest. Note the frame member next to seatbelt. I wouldn't be surprised to find the seating is in a roll cage.
