  • 40 cycles of yesteryear

We stumbled upon this bar in SF this weekend. Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker's @ 2nd Street and Minna. (You SF types may already know it.) Many old bikes hanging from the ceiling, the owner sucking down bottled O2 in the front corner, + tiffany lamps, toy trains, a hugely fat cat. I had a BLT & wiskey sour that came in a pint glass.

I don't think I'd feel comfortable riding a machine with externally moving parts that close to my nuts.

I am the chosen one, the mighty hand of vengeance...
... sent down to strike the unroadworthy!

SF Vampires 2nd anniversary dinner was held there. Lots of nice old bikes.

Sure wish I knew about that place while we were up there just before christmas. Oh well, I think the SF Vampires should take us there when we are visiting in January.
