  • knee pain

anyone else experience knee pain after longer rides? i have been dealing with it more and more. particularly after riding the wifes bike.

i have been taking aleeve but i wonder if anyone has more successfully dealt with this.
If the lights are timed at 35 mph, can we assume they are timed at 70 mph as well???

Oh man, I know your pain. Mine comes from being retarded tall on a small sportbike. In the end the only thing that worked was a combination of rearsets, a 2.5" taller seat (yay corbin), and some rearsets. The end result is little to no knee pain, even on really long rides.

My knee is in constant pain while riding, it is my belief that it is God's punishment for not listening to my Mother.

      Seriously... nothing helps.

I take that back. When I remember to take my Glucosamine every day it helps more than hot baths and Ibuprofen together.

Glucosamine Sulfate, has an edge on Glucosamine alone if your shopping.

Heh. I told my mom I got my wife an EZ Up for her birthday last year and when she asked me what it was I told her it was pill that enhances male sexual potency.

funny thing is, everyone told me my BACK would hurt riding these kind of bikes. and even with a pretty bad injury at 19, that hasn't crept up. oh well.

Well... doggy style can be pretty hard on the knees depending upon how "enthusiastic" the participants are.

Could be considered a detrimental side effect in some ways.

i suppose in a way, knowing this could help prevent pain, but i am not sure i want to cut down on BOTH my favorite activities... and being less enthusiastic about these things isn't an option.

if i don't figure something out, i would have to sell the bike...
