Yeah that sign went up on Avila a few years back after the ONE documented shark attack in recent years. I've been inclined to not worry too much though, considering the victim was a middle-aged woman who had developed the habit of slipping into her sleek black wetsuit to go swimming with the same pack of seals every morning. note the part above the shark that says "stay away from marine wildlife." I believe there is fine print on there as well that reads "in case you are a fucking moron"... Did I mention that there were reports that she was menstruating at the time?

Now if you really want to meet the landlord, I vote you drag your SLOspects up here some weekend and we'll all go for a swim out by that nice point break under the Golden Gate!
