Political donations are nutty.

I've seen a million news stories about protests against the LDS churches for prop 8 when, according to this website, the majority of the money is coming from Catholic sources.

I knew Knights of Columbus was a huge contributor, but it's funny seeing the Ahmanson name on there. Go to any sizeable campus or building run by the Catholic church in southern California and it's got an "Ahmanson Wing" or an "Ahmanson Building," they are serious contributors.
