Test Ride the Knee on the CR-500, I just wanted to see how far I could ride today and get back in touch with the bike,as with all surgeries the time to heal is long and is No Fun. I have not been on a bike for a long time and it was a bit strange to get use to the hand and the foot controls. I met Tony today out at Corllitos, one of my stops to rest a bit befor the ride home. Dam He is fast and knows the back roads. I had to dub. back just to make a check he aced me and did not crash off the road. Tony let me Know what is up. The Knee= ice ice baby..

Sweet. Just don't overdo it in eagerness and injure it further.

Glad to see you on two wheels again.

I don't think I know him. I don't even recall seeing the bike around. I'll keep my eyes open around the hood. Next time you guys ride let me know. I did that ride up Old San Josethe over into corralitos the other day. It's perfect for dual-sports.

Most of us ride pretty much all the time, but we try to make a point to meet up on the third sunday of every month to pick a random direction and hit the twistys. Some of us also meet up on first sundays, second sundays, and fourth sundays. Some saturdays too. We usually hook up at cafe pergolesi around noon.
I don't have a dual sport right now, but i'm not afraid to hit the motard roads on my sportbike.

It seems I failed to mention that last time I rode that route (highland way) I was on the CBR and it kinda blew.....which is what reminded me that it was perfect for the KTM. It's more the quality of the road that sucks, it's clearly been a long time since that road has had any major work done on it.

It's much more manageable going up Eureka Canyon than down.

Sounds good. Got my buddy's clutch & tranny rebuilt today and took a short ride out there between the showers today. Guess i'll head down to the perg any given saturday or sunday round noon.
