Edit: Also, I'd love to see a shot from a few seconds earlier. It's hard to tell why his body is crossed up in that first shot--he looks like he's riding that gixxer like a dirt bike.

Probably target fixation. Staring at the truck while trying to push the bike down into a corner.

I'd steal his forks while the paramedics worked on him.

The initial spray of safety glass during impact says a lot about the forces involved. It looks like the guy was intact on the dismount (i.e. still conscious and trying to get up from his hands and knees) but that first bounce (plus the loss of a shoe) suggests some pretty serious contusive trauma--at the very least his left ankle/knee are fucked up. I wonder if the camera person stuck around for anymore aftermath photos.
