  • What's a good source for leather vests?

Looking online, I'm finding a lot of options, none of which are what I'm looking for.

I'm trying to find a vendor who sells good quality leather vests with a front zipper, a seamless back (for a club patch/ rocker) and a collarless round neckline (as opposed to some Wyatt Earp/ business suit looking vest).

Johnson Leathers in SF has 'em. They used to be $200, but now they're wanting $650 each. No way I'm paying more for a vest than for my Vanson!

    Any suggestions?

I Can't really recommend Just Leathers in San Jose, but it's the only one I know of... Quality is poor though.

I'd check out the Lil' Joe leather vests.

They can customize them for you at request.

I highly recommend Fox Creek Leather.

My current vest is from Just Leather in SJ (off the rack, not custom), but I'm really not happy with the cut or quality.

I'm going back to Fox Creek for a new vest just as soon as I have the cash (and the energy to move all my patches over).

Me too. I don't like the fit of my vest from Just leather. Expensive as hell too.

I'm also in the market for a good leather vest just as you described.

Fox Creek website link is 404 :-(

I was confused for a sec, 'cause I'm short a dick, but I could always borrow one if need be...

I'd do large pockets with Velcro panels. Then you can get 5.11 holster carriers to position inside.
