    Greetings

    Hello! I'm new to the forum, and wanted to introduce myself. I live in San Jose and am looking for a MC or riding buddies. I haven't been riding terribly long (1.5 years) so I'm not really sure how to go about meeting other riders. How's that work? Randomly show up at a bike night? Club one over the head and bring him home?

    Show up at bike night.

    Showing up at four corners (parking lot at intersection of hiway 9 and 35) or Alices (84 and 35) on a weekend will also work to meet other riders.

      Thanks for the tips! I ride a '99 BMW F650. I'm a little on the shy side, Alice's on a weekend might be a bit much - are the bike nights pretty mellow?

        Some of us have been known to bite , but we make allowances for newer riders.

              Bike nights are GREAT ways to meet us, and it's a small, very informal hangout, so it's perfect. We have our rally rides, if you're down to go, the next Vampires event is Next Weekend, the 11th-12th, down in San Luis. There are a LOT of bike nights in the bay area also, so just look 'em up on BARF or kick it at a bike night, and you'll hear about others. :-)

                  We have an informal hang out at the Perg every Wednesday, starting at 8pm.
