Motorcyclist hit, flown to hospital
A motorcyclist collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee near the intersection of Harkins Slough and Ohlone Parkway shortly after 5 p.m. Monday.
The motorcyclist was flown by helicopter to an out-of-county hospital.
The extent of his injuries were not immediately known, though he was wearing a helmet, according to local dispatchers.
No other people reported injuries, dispatchers said.
The sad thing about this is he was hit while in his lane because someone did not see him. Daniel is a friend of mine and is at VMC in San Jose with a 10% chance of survival due to brain trauma. I just wanted to share this with all of you and ask you to keep him in your thoughts.
