      Local KSBW news did a piece on this vehicle last year. Out of any western seaboard town that could benefit from this government hand-me-down, it would be Salinas. Their shootings are so commonplace, we don't even blink on the nightly news.

        Santa Maria isn't even a blip on Salinas' radar. Salinas is more interested in keeping up with Stockton and Fresno.

                "Death Machine"? Talk about you hyped up sensationalism. It's just a plain armored Swat car. It's no more able to kill someone than the average Volvo and the driver is likely much better trained. Also the turret doesn't have a machine gun it therefore it is not a machine gun turret.
