lookin for a vintage vespa, not looking for a year specifically, I dont care at all what it looks like, just as long as its in running order or close to running order.. I want to spend under $1000.. Also, if anyone knows of a good used vespa dealer that would help to..I'm in the LA area

You and me both... I'm in the LA area too and looking for a cheep vintage Vespa. Lots of pretty shiney ones on Craigslist and eBay, but not a whole lot that's under $1k.
