Some of you might remember this bike from a few years ago. Team Calamari Racing everything. Works shock, +3" swing arm, TCR clamp, TCR brace, TCR revalved forks, Douglas wheels and Dunlap TT90 tires. I put a shifter cart digital gauge for exhaust temp, head temp, and RPM. Carbon fiber rear tail section, Glow in the dark green flames on tank, and Acerbis front headlight for that bad ass naked look.
The killer part of this bike is the engine. 1998 YZ125! 2mm over cylinder(about 130cc), 05 YZ125 Mikuni "D" slide carb, 05 Boysen rad valve(also have a V Force setup) and enough Sprocket Specialists sprockets for any type of riding.
I had a guy on a Moto Guzzi clock me at about 110mph on this bike. I have owned numerous Vespa's and a Ducati to know not to put too much faith in the accuracy of Italian gauges. I can say without a doubt that this bike will do 65mph up almost any hill, will wheelie like a duc, and will make you grin every time you twist the throttle.
I have a stock and a modified engine for this bike. I also have quite a few spares for the YZ motor. I will include all parts and bodywork with the sale of this bike, BUT I am not carting it around on vacation. You want the spares you pay the actual shipping to get them from Albuquerque, NM to wherever you live.
I will be around Monterey from the 17th to the 19th if anyone wants to look at the bike. You can email me: tuf2c2003@yahoo.com
I am not interested in any trades. I wish i could make it to your rally but the Pharaohs(my club) is having their 15 year anniversary the same weekend.
I am asking $3500. Yea it's a lot, but think of it this way. A good stock YSR goes for $1000-1500 and for that price you get a bike that will barely go over 50mph. The digital gauge was $450 used off eBay and then I had to order all the sensors for another $200. I have not added the TCR parts up but I know it was well over $1000. Only two parts on this bike are stock unmodified. Everything else has been changed, cut or reinforced.
