  • Parting out 2003 SV650s

    Money's tight these days, and i'm getting rid of some of my stuff.

    Parting out my 2003 SV650s. Some of the fancy go-fast parts include:
    -Vortex rearsets
    -2005 GSXR 1000 forks with traxxion emulators
    -penske triple clicker shock
    -TRE
    -Pitbull steering stabilizer
    -F3 wheel (three of them.) with the appropriate TWF spacer kit
    -2005 GSXR 1000 front wheel, rashed up

    I've also got a new, straight swingarm, subframe, etc. Main frame isn't so great. Engine's fantastic and only has about 30K on it.

    Money's tight these days, and i'm getting rid of some of my stuff.
    I had a run in with a V10 Tundra, and while I got /most/ of the parts to put my SV back on the road.. I just don't have the money to finish the job. So i'm going to part her out. The suspension was all redone by Zoran, but the forks and shock need to be rebuilt.

    Fancy go-fast parts include:
    -Vortex rearsets
    -2005 GSXR 1000 forks. Resprung for a 300lb rider.
    -penske triple clicker shock
    -Pitbull steering stabilizer
    -F3 wheel (three of them.) with the appropriate TWF spacer kit
    --one of those wheels has a pirelli SC2 mounted up, with about 20 laps on it. I didn't even get it over to the edge, due to some ergo problems with the bike.
    -2005 GSXR 1000 front wheel, rashed up
    -Sharkskinz race bodywork. Painted flat black. never crashed.

            The cheapest engine I saw on ebay was $500. So how about VMC Price of $500 for all three? However, that tank's been lifted (new front mounts) so it sits up higher. Not like you don't know how to chop em off and weld new ones on anyway.

                To get it back on the road you'll need to put about $500 into it. How about $2K for everything? (And I mean: everything)

                It's not turn-key though. Look for the thread where I got run over by a truck to see pics of its current state.
